Jessica Whidden

Registered Massage Therapist

Jessica has been practicing Massage Therapy in Vancouver since obtaining her diploma from WCCMT in 2005. She has a passion for education and integrated health.

Over the course of the last decade she has dedicated herself to helping her patients by exploring the different facets of Massage Therapy and pursuing her continuing educating. Her post graduate learning led her to the Integrated Systems Model. Jessica combines the whole body assessment and treatment approach with Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilization and Neural Manipulation.

Jessica first experienced the benefits of alternative health care modalities while playing rugby in the BC Women’s premier division. During the 12 years she played rugby, massage therapy was a key component in the healing and rehabilitation of a number of her own injuries, ranging from a sprained ankle to a fractured vertebra. Since becoming an RMT, she has treated athletes and nonathletes alike. Her holistic approach of balancing the body to optimize its function has helped her patients reach their personal health and fitness goals.

She is currently completing her Clinical Pilates training through Calibrate Pilates and her Neural Manipulation Certification through the Barral Institute.
