Kjersti Malinsky completed her Masters of Physiotherapy degree at the University of British Columbia as well as her Bachelor’s of Human Kinetics degree. To continue learning and developing her Physiotherapy skills, Kjersti has continued to take courses in Manual Orthopaedic Division. She has also had the opportunity to further her education more recently in Women’s Health courses and will be taking further education in the Integrated Systems Model starting January 2016.
Kjersti is a lifelong fitness enthusiast who enjoys training for marathons, swimming, road biking and hiking. She strives to help others find their passion for physical activity. Kjersti’s treatment philosophy is to maintain a balance of fun, variety and patient-focused goals in rehabilitation.
She has completed STOTT and Balanced Body Pilates courses and integrates these principles into her exercise prescription. Using a blend of manual therapy, myofascial release and movement re-education, Kjersti helps her clients to optimize their performance in unique ways. Kjersti has worked with many populations including athletes, children, older adults, patients recovering from surgery and clients with neurological challenges. Kjersti’s ultimate goal is to help others get involved and stay involved in physical activity.
