Judit Orban

Physiotherapist

Judit has a special interest in helping people with various spinal conditions such as back pain, scoliosis, kyphosis, chest conditions and spinal fusions. Since graduating in 2010 from the Semmelweis University of Hungary, Judit has been working in various spine specific clinics around the world.

She started dancing at a young age and after high school she completed a Contemporary Dance Teacher course. Learning about the capabilities of the human body influenced her to study more and to earn a degree in Physiotherapy. She also has great passion for music. Judit has over 10 years of performing experience as a jazz singer, that lead her to write her Physiotherapy Thesis on Musicians’ Musculoskeletal Impairments with special emphasis on the upper extremities and spine.

Following her graduation from Semmelweis University in Budapest Hungary, Judit has worked in various Spinal Clinics in the areas of acute and chronic pain, and orthopaedics. Her area of focus has been scoliosis and kyphosis and she deepened her knowledge by completing the German Asklepios Katherina Schroth Clinic’s International Schorth course. In 2014, Judit presented at the SOSORT Conference for non-operative management of scoliosis and structural spine changes in Wiesbaden, Germany. Since then, she contributed to multiple scoliosis and kyphosis specific research and conference presentations.

Judit learned about the Integrated Systems Model as a patient for her acute back pain. She immediately felt the need to learn the “magic” of understanding the hidden secrets of how the body is interconnected. Completing the ISM series was an empowering experience that allows her to bring in all the creative energy that supports clinical decision making, fun exercise prescription and use of unique treatment techniques.

Her treatment is also influenced by Maitland and Mulligan manual therapy, McKenzie Therapy, neural mobilization (clinical neurodynamics) and kinematic taping.

Her goal during a physiotherapy treatment session is to hold a safe space where therapist and client can create meaningful connections while learning healthy lifestyle changes and understanding how capable their body is.
