She then spent time working as a Kinesiologist in the community and volunteering as a Therapeutic swim instructor, helping adults with Cerebral Palsy achieve the rehabilitation goals. She followed this with a Master of Physical Therapy Degree at the University of British Columbia. During the degree she received the Evert Boxtart Memorial Award for completion of clinical education with distinction and community involvement.

Administration
The first person you will meet at Diane Lee & Associates will be one of our amazing patient experience co-ordinators or managers.
They have your interests at heart and may ask you a few questions regarding your problem to ensure that you are booked to see the best person in our team. The second ‘person’ may be Cooper! He is our clinic therapy dog, a very friendly, hypoallergenic, Havanese who loves to be pet. You will find him often outside Cathy’s treatment room if not in the arms of a staff member or client. If you are fearful of any dog, let us know and we will keep him out of sight. Just because we have a very well trained dog in our clinic, still doesn’t mean you can bring yours! Unless your dog is a service dog, please leave your dog at home, thank you.
Working with Diane Lee and all of the Team is such an honour, so much talent in one place! The environment of the clinic reflects the clinic motto of Engage, Experience, Empower. It is amazing to work with such team players who have such a passion for helping and teaching others. I have always been a believer in team work, helping each other develop our strengths and this is what working for Diane Lee & Associates means.
I have many years of experience working as a Medical Office Assistant. I enjoy working in a positive environment and I have found that positivity at Diane Lee and Associates. It is a pleasure to see the passion and compassion that our physiotherapists and administrative staff have for the patients. When I am not at work, there is a good chance I’ll be away travelling to some far off destination.

I graduated as MOA in 2011 and have worked in administration since then at both a physiotherapy and medical clinic. Working with the amazing team at DLA is a great honour. We have amazing teamwork and everyone is very knowledgeable and willing to share and help. If I’m not at work you can find me enjoying walks at parks or exploring new places in the Vancouver region.
Cooper is the newest member of the DLA team and he is excited to be the clinic therapy dog and official greeter. He is a friendly 8 year old Havanese who doesn’t shed and rarely barks but is always ready for a pet, cuddle, or a little game of fetch. He lives with Cathy and her family and helped raise two little girls and one large furry dog brother. You will see Cooper wandering the halls of the clinic or napping in his clinic dog bed outside Cathy’s treatment room.
