Sarah received her Bachelor of Science with a minor in Nutritional Sciences at the University of British Columbia. She then pursued a Master of Physical Therapy degree, graduating in 2013 from UBC.
Sarah has taken post-graduate courses for dry needling, rehabilitation Pilates, visceral and neuromeningeal manipulation, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. Sarah is certified in the Progressing Ballet Technique. In 2016, she completed the Clinical Mentorship in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM).
Sarah grew up as a competitive ballet and highland dancer. During these years, she first encountered physiotherapists that helped her rehabilitate dance injuries. Sarah later discovered Pilates and found this personally beneficial for reducing her risk of injury and maintaining a good level of strength. These experiences have guided Sarah in her journey as a physiotherapist. In addition to dance and Pilates, outside the clinic, Sarah enjoys hiking, skiing and snowboarding.
