Asha Basi

Physiotherapist

Asha’s journey into physiotherapy began with a strong foundation in human movement and a passion for helping others improve their quality of life. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. Her clinical practice encompasses both musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy, with a particular interest in the interplay between these systems. Asha has completed her Pelvic Health Solutions Level 1 certification and is currently undertaking mentorship with Diane Lee, advancing her training in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM). This integrative framework informs her approach, allowing for a thorough and nuanced understanding of each patient’s presentation. Asha combines manual therapy, targeted exercise and education to provide comprehensive, individualized care with a focus on optimizing movement, function and overall well-being.

Outside of her clinical work, Asha maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys playing soccer and pickleball, as well as running and practicing pilates. In her downtime, she also enjoys baking and reading books and believes that balance is fundamental to long-term health. Asha is committed to delivering individualized care that supports each patient in achieving optimal function, confidence and long-term well-being.
