Olivia Zawadiuk

Physiotherapist

Olivia graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2024. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at UBC, where she was also a member of the UBC artistic (synchronized) swimming team.

Olivia’s desire to become a physiotherapist was inspired by personal experiences as a competitive athlete, coach, and kinesiologist. Throughout her fifteen-year athletic career in artistic swimming, she competed nationally on club teams and team BC, and represented Canada internationally on the Canadian National Artistic Swimming Team. While competing in a sport that demands strength, flexibility, and coordination, Olivia faced her own injuries and experienced first-hand the significant impact that physiotherapists can have on recovery, function, and quality of life. Motivated by the compassionate and individualized care she received, Olivia decided to kickstart her career as a physiotherapist by pursuing Diane Lee’s mentorship program where she will be completing training in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM).

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys trail running, skiing (both downhill and nordic), cycling, yoga, and swimming. She is committed to providing empathetic and tailored care, helping her clients improve function and achieve their goals with confidence.
