Brittany graduated from the University of Ottawa with an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics followed by a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto.
She considers communication the key to understanding her client’s goals for treatment and incorporates individual lifestyles and evidenced-based practice to optimize her treatment plans. Her practice skills include manual therapy, exercise prescription, functional dry needling, and most importantly, patient education.
Brittany believes that learning never stops, and is always planning the next steps in her continuing education. Her true passion is pelvic health physiotherapy and she treats a variety of pelvic conditions for both men and women, including incontinence, pelvic girdle pain, pregnancy related pelvic floor issues and pelvic organ prolapse. She is very passionate about rehabilitation and strives to deliver the best client care for every individual she works with.
Brittany loves the outdoors, and loves to travel and her down-time passion is singing country music. When she is not in the clinic you will find her enjoying the outdoors, running, weight training and appreciating time with friends and family.
Some may ask- why move across the country for this job? I have been passionate about physiotherapy and the pelvic floor ever since beginning my studies. I don’t see my job as one person’s role, I see it as a team effort. We are continuously learning and collaborating with others. I am so thankful to have found a clinic and team that places such an emphasis on mentorship, collaboration and happiness. I always come to work with a big smile, and I know it is because of the team that I am so lucky to be a part of.
